Simone told me last night that the owners of the apartment came, and said that they are buying a brand new washing machine for our apartment!!!!! YAY!!!! No more having to go to either a laundromat or down in the creepy basement to wash my clothes...the only down-side is that it won't come for 3-4 weeks, due to the delivery time. But, something to look forward to!
And that's not all....
Our heating doesn't really work, hence why I've been freezing my toosh off lately (that, and weather.com says that it is 42 degrees, but feels like 34...). Every morning I have to go into the kitchen and push the ignite button to ignite the pilot light for the gas to have hot water to take a shower, heat my room, etc...Well, these specialists came yesterday, cleaned out a huge bucket of ashes from our chimney, and said that we need a new heater. The owners are also buying a new heating element, which will be installed hopefully on Monday! YAY!!!!! Maybe the heater will actually work, and I won't have to freeze in the kitchen waiting/hoping that the pilot light will ignite. That is something to be thankful for!
